Aqua Yoga
When: 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the Month

Where: Village Center Pool, Warm Hearth Village, 2387 Warm Hearth Drive, Blacksburg, VA
Cost: This class is free to Warm Hearth Village residents, fitness members and staff.
$12 day pass for non-residents / non-members.
Must be 50 years of age or older.
Explore practicing yoga (postures, breathwork, and mindfulness) in the accessible environment of the Warm Hearth Village pool. Benefits include pain reduction, improved strength & balance, increased freedom of movement, greater body awareness, decreased stress in body & mind, and community connection.
We will be mostly exploring standing postures, and we will be working at a water level where we will be submerged to about chest height. Our heads will stay above the water line and our feet will always be able to touch the pool floor. Options such as using the pool walls, water noodles and/or kickboards will be offered for support and improved awareness.
Warm Hearth’s pool is a beautiful sky-lit indoor space. The warm saltwater pool is a therapeutic pool that is keep between 85-90 degrees.
