March 22
All-Abilities Dance Experience
Do you remember moving as a child full of curiosity and without self-judgment? This offering serves to help you reconnect with that innate joy of rhythm and movement while helping you to feel more alive in your own body. In this dance/movement experience you will be guided through simple movement explorations and rhythmic play activities from a variety of dance styles. You will then be encouraged to explore and play with these rhythms and movements in ways that feel good and true to you. In this movement experience, you can’t get it wrong because it is about exploring your own song & dance. This is an opportunity to get moving, release tension, express via the body, and feel connected. As dance is a birthright to all, we will have seated and standing options for all we explore in our time together. There will be chairs available, so if you need to dance in a chair or use it as a supportive dance partner, no worries. We will make it all part of the dance.
